Privacy Policy: Nothing Leaves Your Browser

Your documents

Conversion runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript that was downloaded with the page. Your Markdown, your Word files and their contents are never transmitted to MD to Word or to any third party. We do not receive them, so we cannot store them, read them, or hand them to anyone.

You do not have to take our word for this. Open your browser developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and convert a document. You will see no request carrying your content, because none is made.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. It records aggregate information such as which pages were viewed and roughly where visitors came from. It never has access to document content, because document content never leaves your machine.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no cross-site tracking.

Advertising

There is currently no advertising on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated before any advertising appears, not afterwards.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Hassan Razeen as a personal project. For questions about this policy, reach me on GitHub. Because no document and no personal data ever reaches this site, there is nothing stored that could be requested, corrected or deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, the change will be described here rather than quietly applied.
